Can I collect data that exceeds the max size?

Hello I use the chipwhisperer lite for my researching, and I have a question.

I’m running long benchmark software on CW.

I have limited research because of the limited max buffer size.

Can I modify the GUI to get data beyond the buffer size? Is it possible to save the extracted data first and extract it from the beginning of buffer if the buffer size is full? The pro version is too expensive and I want to do more research on lite.

Hello,

It would be trivial to do this from a command-line script. Just repeat the same capture as many times as needed, increasing the offset accordingly as you go, and stitch the power traces together; that’s what I would do. Customizing the GUI to provide this functionality is certainly possible but I feel it would be awkward to do it in a way that’s not confusing for the user.
