Timeout forced ChipWhisperer-Lite 1173

Hello.
I’ve been trying for a long time to find a solution to my problem.
There is no guide to this problem.
I ran into the following problem when trying to run the AES simple serial on XMEGA :
Running Script: ChipWhisperer-Lite: AES SimpleSerial on XMEGA* Starting User Script *****
No phase shift loaded
Timeout in OpenADC capture(), trigger FORCED
Timeout in OpenADC capture(), trigger FORCED
Timeout
Timeout in OpenADC capture(), trigger FORCED
Timeout in OpenADC capture(), trigger FORCED
Timeout
***** Ending User Script *****
By the way, I use winpython software to run and not VM.

Hi @nir
Can you give more information: which version of CW are you using? Are you following a particular tutorial?

This is the behaviour you would see if the XMEGA target isn’t programmed – are you sure that it was successfully programmed?

I’m using in the version RC 0.12. The AVR programming XMEGA doesn’t work.
It is very frustrating.

That’s an ancient version, you’ll be much better off with a more recent release. Please try with the latest from https://github.com/newaetech/chipwhisperer/releases.
It includes several tutorials that should help you get going.
