I plan to buy th e Chip Whisperer complete kit. What I recognize is, that there is an open port for a additionaly OpenADC
marked on the front pannel as CH-B. My question is, what type of additional OpenADC should I order and is it supported by the current hardware/software for analysis?

The additional channel isn’t supported in the FPGA code or software yet… to be honest it’s not on the distant road-map even, as there wasn’t enough use for it ultimately. The hardware continues to support it in case someone decides to add it themselves, or future updates to the FPGA bitstream enable it.
You would just need an ‘OpenADC with male header pins’. It will plug into a 30-pin female header on the ChipWhisperer main board.
