‘install avr/xmega and arm compilers’ is not displayed under select additional tasks in the installation procedure
I would like to know how to get a proper compilation environment in this case.

If you go to our installation pages on readthedocs, there are instructions for the avr and arm compilers for each installation method.

I think I ended up removing that option - the compilers should always be installed. I’ll get the documentation updated.
