My chipshouter is dead after running for a weekend. I was glitching a microcontroller using the ChipShouter over the weekend. I used the hardware trigger to trigger the pulses(to bypass the python interface) and left it running. It was running stable when I left(I checked for ~3 hours) but now the chipshouter is dead. It does not do anything but stays dark. Is there anything I can do to recover it?
Does it print anything over the serial port? It might just be that the device has gone into bootloader mode.
No, no output at all. The lights stay off as well. I checked with another power adapter from another chipshouter and with another usb serial cable but also no response. Is there anything I can do to check if the microcontroller in the chipshouter is still working?
My guess is that either the microcontroller is down to its ROM bootloader or something else has went wrong with the ChipShouter. Can you email support@newae.com so that we can get the unit shipped back to us for further investigation?
