EM SCA using ChipWhisperer Level 1 Starter Kit

I want to buy the ChipWhisperer Level 1 Starter Kit. But I still have some question.
I’d like to use it for getting EM traces. Is it ok?
Is there a brand requirement for the electromagnetic probe? If not, how shold i do.
Or I can only use Probe Set [NAE-PBSET-PSU]？

You can definitely use other EM probes. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy, there’s lots of tutorials online on how to make your own. One thing to note is that the signal strength will be quite low, so you may want to add some additional low noise amplification (similar to CW502 Low Noise Amplifier - NewAE Hardware Product Documentation).
