How to dump and verify a custom cryptographic design on CW310 without using a scope?

I’m currently working with the CW310 Bergen Board and would like to test a custom cryptographic hardware design on the FPGA. I will be performing side-channel analysis later but I simply want to load the design onto the board before attaching the scope. What are the steps I should take or do I need the scope
