How to verify traces?

Hello,

I have taken traces for Simon 128/128 on Sakura-X using Rigol DS1102E (100MHZ/ 1GSA/S) oscilloscope. It gave me a CSV file of 8192 data points, and a wfm file as well. But I am not sure if the traces I have captured are correct or not? Can anyone help me verify?

Hi,

I haven’t worked with Simon before, but typically you want to run something like a TVLA, which involves capturing traces with a special sequence of plaintext and keys (more info at https://www.rambus.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/TVLA-DTR-with-AES.pdf).
