I do have a Picoscope 5442D and trying to get the trigger working.
Despite configuring the trigger threshold above the signal it is still triggering without any trigger input.
Hope that someone can help me with this.
I’ve been facing the same issue.
After days of debugging I think the issue is on the picoscope library and not the chipwhisperer code because I could reproduce it using PicoTech’s example scripts and their own python wrapper.

i did return the picoscope because i could not used it. hopefully they will adress the bug . i will get a picoscope when this issue is worked out.
did you try the beta software and the new v7 ?
