Variable voltage glitches

Hello, I had a quick question on the capabilities of the hardware:

I am interested in creating long, shallow voltage glitches that exist just below the nominal operating values (where exploring all values from nominal to 0v would be ideal). Is this something that is possible for CW? I understand voltage glitches are normally done using a crowbar, which a little more ‘all or nothing’ than I would like. If not, are there alternatives? Or, perhaps, could the CW hardware be modified to say accept and pass through variable power?

No, that’s not possible for ChipWhisperers. You’ll need to build something external, but you can use the ChipWhisperer to time the glitch for that. For example, you could do something similar to https://toothless.co/blog/bootloader-bypass-part3 where you use a multiplexer for the glitch, replacing the FPGA with glitchout from a ChipWhisperer.
