Voltage glitch introducing low-level glitches, such as dropping the voltage to 1.8V

I am researching voltage glitching tools and would like to confirm if ChipWhisperer supports glitches that are not at ground level.

Specifically, I need to test a chip operating normally at 3.3V by introducing low-level glitches, such as dropping the voltage to 1.8V.

I assume ChipWhisperer can support this.

No, ChipWhisperer doesn’t support this; what it does is a “crowbar glitch”, which is where the target supply voltage is (briefly) shorted to ground.

how about hp glitch?
If we can configure hp glitch voltage, we can set 1.8V up at hp glitch.

HP and LP refer to the High Power and Low Power MOSFETs that are used to crowbar. All that you can configure is:

  1. Whether one or both of the crowbar MOSFETs are enabled for the crowbar.
  2. When the crowbar is applied.
  3. How long the crowbar is applied for.

Thank you.
I misunderstood that high power glitch is high voltage glitch.
