I am using the CW305 for a side-channel attack project. The board is powered via the USB interface through the USB-B connector from my laptop. My laptop has two USB ports. When I plug the USB-B into one port, the board shows 0.12V, and in the other port, it shows 1.01V (which allows me to work with it). Since yesterday, plugging the USB-B into either port shows 0.12V on the board. I have also tried connecting it to different laptops, but I get the same voltage, making it impossible to work with. Is there any solution to this issue? I have updated the firmware, but this has not resolved the problem.
@jpthibault , thank you for your response. Unfortunately, I don’t have a DC jack at the moment. I also tested the board on my colleague’s laptop and several other laptops, but I consistently get 0.12V, which is strange because the board was previously receiving 1.01V from all of my colleague’s ports before it suddenly started showing 0.12V every time.
Is there any solution other than using a DC jack? I tried updating the firmware today, but I encountered an error (shown in the attached screenshot), Despite that my laptop detects the board and it appears under the “Universal Serial Bus devices”
Thank you so much! It was related to this switch. After reading the comments, I realized it was set to “up.” Everything is working again now—thanks!
